The 232/2014/R/eel public consultations terminates on 30th of June and, in view of the implementation of the EU Energy Efficiency Directive 2012/27/UE, encourages qualified opinions on how to provide energy consumption data to low voltage consumers in order to stimulate the benefits of customer awareness.
The consultation document (in Italian) includes an overview of available technologies and of results of trials. A section of the document is dedicated to the Smart Info device of Enel, as a valid instrument to provide energy consumption data, and to the Energy@home activities and field trial, as a qualified confirmation of the benefits provided by customer awareness.
